We are lucky on the weekend. The combination of an upper-level ridge aloft over the southern half of the country, and a very slow moving storm system over the Pacific Northwest will yield gorgeous conditions across the entire state this weekend.
Skies will be sunny. Temperatures will be warm; upper 70s and middle 80s. Winds will be light Saturday, but will be winding up Sunday; south 15-30 - there had to be some catch.
We are starting to head into the time of year when sun exposure is an issue. With UV indices this weekend in the very high category, precautions will need to be taken if you are outdoors for any prolonged period of time. That means a sunscreen with a SPF of 30, keeping hydrated, and limiting outdoor activities to the morning and early evening hours. Have fun in the sun, but be safe while doing so!
