Five tornadoes were confirmed by National Weather Service surveyors Thursday, after a severe storm system moved through Texas Wednesday.

The worst damage was sustained in Crowley, south of Fort Worth.

A confirmed EF-2 tornado with estimated wind speeds ranging 110 to 115 mph caused significant damage to several homes along Worfield and Sharondale Drives.

The official survery report says, "Two houses had significant portions of their roofs removed...along with damage to external walls."

According to surveyors, the tornado had a path 0.3 miles long, and was about 100 yards wide.

The same storm which produced this isolated tornado also caused wind damage in north Hood, northwest Johnson, and southwest Tarrant Counties, according to The National Weather Service.

No injuries were reported with this storm, and the people inside the homes hit by the Crowley tornado took proper tornado precautions, according to surveyor interviews.
