Winter's chill, April showers, cloudy to sunny - Sunday will feature it all. Periods of rain and possibly a rumble or two of thunder will spread east across the state Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon, most, if not all of the precipitation, will clear the state from west to east.
Cloudy morning skies will gradually roll back and allow hints of sunshine to peak through during the afternoon hours, with a mostly clear sky expected by dusk.
Brisk northerly winds at 15-30 mph will subside during the afternoon to 10-20 mph, though it will still feel fairly cool with highs only reaching the lower 60s.
