Workweek preview

The weekend always seems to go by so fast; welcome to the last week of April - that's right, May is just around the corner.

The first half of the workweek will be rather pleasant, especially Monday. Sunny skies will stick around Monday and Tuesday with daytime highs reaching the middle 70s and lower 80s.

The wind will pickup on Tuesday in response to a fairly potent storm system that will crash into the Northwest, and take aim on Oklahoma Thursday. This time period will be monitored closely over the next few days for the possibility of severe weather.

Once Thursday's storm system crashes through, skies will begin to clear, the wind will subside, and the temperatures will reach the 70s on Friday.
