One of Oklahoma City's oldest residents is also one OKC's newest.
At the age of 98, Catherine Evans evacuated Louisiana just hours before Hurricane Katrina came ashore and in September 2005 she left her home state never to return.
Her home was destroyed, Evans moved up to Oklahoma City where she now lives near family members. She spends her days at the Daily Living Center, where she has made a ton of new friends.
Evans admits she could use a little more red beans and rice, but otherwise she's doing very well.
