The OU softball team will defend their conference championship Saturday when they play their first game in the Big 12 conference tournament.

The seventh-ranked Sooners will play at 11 a.m. at Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. The Sooners will face the winner of Friday's game against Kansas and Nebraska.

If they advance to and win Sunday's final game, the Sooners would be the second team in Big 12 history to win consecutive titles. The Texas Longhorns first won back-to-back titles in 2002 and 2003.
