Man accused of having sex with teenage girl

WARR ACRES, Okla. -- A 19-year-old Bethany man is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.

Zephon Lamar is charged with one count of second-degree rape and Warr Acres police said they think more alleged victims may come forward.

"We've had information that he's been engaging in sexual activities with a number of young girls - 13 and 14-year-olds," Detective Alan Davidofky said.

Police said they think Lamar targeted young white teenagers in the area for relationships that included sex. Some of his alleged victims were picked up at the Victory Christian Youth Center.

Investigators said parents would often drop the children off at the center, not checking to see if the minors made it inside the facility for Wednesday night functions.

Police said Lamar took other alleged victims to an apartment complex of NW 40, where he once lived.

Police said Lamar was arrested several times as a juvenile.

Authorities asked people to contact Warr Acres police if they have any information.

"What we're asking is for any parents or for any young girls willing to talk about those instances to do so," Davidofky said.

Lamar remained in Oklahoma County Jail on Friday on a $10,000 bond.
