The state continues to be in a period of greater thunderstorm chances through the Memorial Day holiday.
Severe thunderstorms are possible in the northwestern quarter of Oklahoma Friday afternoon and evening. The threats with these thunderstorms include large hail, damaging wind, and possibly isolated tornadoes.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are also likely through Memorial Day. This does not mean that it will be raining everywhere all day for the next few days, but showers and thunderstorms are likely to occur in the state each day. Generally, the western half of the state will have a 30% chance each day, while the eastern half will have a 20% chance.
