The Oklahoma City City Council has approved more than $66,000 dollars to fund a study that will look into improvements to the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark and Oklahoma State Fair Park grandstands.

The city council said it believes both facilities could be used to host more sporting events.

Officials with the RedHawks baseball team oppose the idea. They want the facility to be used for only baseball.
