OKLAHOMA CITY ( AP ) - Shaver Hansen had four RBIs and Baylor pitchers allowed just four hits as the Bears beat Nebraska 10-to-4 in the Big 12 Conference baseball tournament.
Hansen's three-run triple keyed a four-run seventh inning yesterday that put the game out of reach for the third-seeded Cornhuskers (39-13-1). Hansen delivered an RBI single in a two-run third inning that put sixth-seeded Baylor (32-24) up 3-to-0.
After Nebraska scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth, Hansen walked and scored on Adam Hornung's double in the sixth inning. The Cornhuskers loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh and Tyler Farst's two-run single to left field narrowed the score to 8-4.
Baylor answered in the eighth when Ben Booker hit a double off the right-field wall, scoring two runners.
