The western third of Oklahoma is under a tornado watch until 9 p.m. as the threat for severe weather continues.
Severe storms will continue to be possible through Wednesday in Oklahoma.
There is a risk for thunderstorms late this afternoon and early evening across far western Oklahoma and the northern half of the state. Those chances increase overnight tonight into Tuesday morning, especially in the enhanced risk area. As with any severe thunderstorm, the risks can include large hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes.
There is a risk for more thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday, then the state should enter a dry spell late this week.
