Doctors say the average prognosis for the most aggressive form of this type of tumor is about 15 months.
Those suffering from slower growing tumors might expect to live two to four years, but scientists at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation are hoping to change those statistics.
Dr. Rheal Towner came to the NEWS 9 studio with more.
