Teenager's body found in Arcadia Lake

EDMOND, Okla. - A missing swimmer's body was found Wednesday afternoon in Arcadia Lake.

Firefighters found the body of Leonardo Avila, 17, after a four-hour search, police said.

He was last seen at about 11 a.m. when he went underwater while swimming with a group of friends at Spring Creek Park. Avila and his friends are students at U.S. Grant High School.

Authorities said the group went outside the swimming area in a inflatable raft. The missing swimmer left the boat to swim ashore.
