School locked down as authorities search for suspect

An Oklahoma City elementary school was on lockdown Wednesday afternoon as authorities searched for a wanted man in the area.

Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies were trying to arrest a man with warrants near NW 10 and the man ran south.

Greenvale Elementary School, 901 N Greenvale Road, was placed on lock down as authorities search for the suspect. The man was arrested at about 2:40 p.m.

Greenvale Elementary is in the Western Heights school district.
