Today's story I talked about migraines and sinus headaches. This time of year it seems I suffer from a headache almost daily, but by knowing what type it is, I can better treat myself thus, getting rid of it.
Approximately 28 million Americans suffer from chronic migraines. It's important to get in and see your doctor so you can rule out anything more severe.
I myself ended up getting an MRI due to frequent headaches which, fortunately, did not reveal anything of significance.
I had a call from a viewer who wanted to thank me for doing a story on this topic because she too suffered from headaches. She went to a doctor only to be told it was nothing.
She decided to go see another doctor who in fact found something pretty substantial to say the least, a malignant brain tumor. She told me she is alive today because she trusted her gut instinct that something wasn't quite right and sought a second opinion.
So don't wait to get things checked out.
