Severe weather will be possible late this afternoon through tonight along and north of Interstate 40.

Severe weather will be possible late this afternoon through tonight along and north of Interstate 40. A stationary boundary will combine with a moist, fairly unstable environment, providing favorable conditions for isolated supercells late this afternoon into the early evening hours.

Very large hail and damaging straight-line wind will be the main threats; isolated tornadoes will also be possible, especially during this evening.
