WASHINGTON -- Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf says the FBI has found that four of the computers in his office have been hacked by someone working out of China.
Wolf, a Republican, says similar incidents, also apparently from China, have been reported on the computers of other House members and at least one House committee.
The long-time critic of China's human rights policy suggests that the problem could be more widespread. He says that if House computers have been hacked, "don't you think they're doing the same thing in the Senate?"
A spokesman for Wolf says the four computers in his office were being used by staff members working on human rights issues.
Wolf wants hearings in both the House and the Senate because he fears there could be members of Congress who "may not even know" their computers have been compromised.
