Church raises money to rebuild

Members of a century-old church that was destroyed by a tornado last month have raised more than $25,000 to rebuild.

GARFIELD COUNTY, Okla. -- Members of a century-old church that was destroyed by a tornado last month have raised more than $25,000 to rebuild.

At tornado ripped the Potter Community Church from its foundation on May 24. Since then, donations have been pouring in from across the state and across the nation.

"The helps that's come in has been tremendous," Pastor Sam Jerome said.

Jerome said the congregation hopes to have a new building built by next Spring.
