OKC public schools Driver’s Education Program to open

The Oklahoma City Public School District is now offering students to enroll for its second session of Driver's Education.

The Oklahoma City Public School District is now offering students to enroll for its second session of Driver's Education.

Registration is open to students that are 15-years-old on or before the first day of class. Only students attending school are eligible and OKCPS students are given first consideration.

The course runs from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 25 at Douglass High School, 900 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The class begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.

Classes cost $200 for OKCPS students who are currently enrolled and $250 for all other students. Refunds are not available after the second day of class.

The class consists of a minimum of 30 classroom instruction hours and 6 hours of driving instruction.

Payments are to be made payable to the Oklahoma City Public Schools. You can make payments in person at the Teacher and Learning Department, 900 N. Klein, in room 420.
