A cool front continues to gradually slide southward through the state Thursday afternoon.  As the front moves into your specific area, there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Specifically for the 4th of July, the chance of rain will be 30% for northeastern Oklahoma, 20% for Oklahoma City down to zero chance across southwest Oklahoma.

Temperatures on Friday will range from 86 in northern Oklahoma to 95 along the Red River.  Temperatures will quickly jump back up to near normal for the rest of the holiday weekend.  So that says highs in the low to mid nineties for Saturday and Sunday.

In general the surface winds will be 5 to 15 mph, occasionally kicking up to 20 mph.  However, most winds will be in the lower category.
