Sam Presti, the general manager of Oklahoma City's NBA team, visited Oklahoma City to field questions from the media.
"We're thrilled, we think this is just an unbelievable opportunity for our team," Presti said. "We're starting to gear up for the NBA."
According to Presti, the players are excited, too.
"I'm not sure there could've been a better place for our team to go forward," Presti said.
He went on to say the team and the city's values are the same.
"We're ready to go to work. We're ready to continue to move forward as an organization, but doing so in this community is invigorating and exciting, Presti said.
During the visit, Presti planned on touring possible practice facilities, but hasn't decided on any one location.
"What we're looking for a place that's going to be our home," Presti said.
He won't say where he's looking, and didn't give away any hints about the team's name.
"We're more concerned with what's inside the jersey than what's outside of it," Presti said. "I'm sure we'll have a great name."
Presti said the transition from Seattle to Oklahoma City is underway, but doesn't know when anyone will actually move.
