Adding Value to Your Home

While home values aren't dropping as a whole in our area, there are more homes out there to choose from.  So you have to make yours stand out from the rest.  There are some realtively simple things... like plant some flowers in the front so there's curb appeal.  If you have a hideous color of paint on your walls, think about re-painting it to a neutral color.. Take out some of the furniture so the place doesn't look cluttered..  And if its an older home, the realtor we talked to suggested doing some upgrades.  The master bath, kitchen, and now outdoor living spaces seem to be the places to do upgrades.
