Hey there....We are in the thick of summer and maybe your family still has a vacation planned.  Many airlines are adding costs for more luggage.... and in some cases it's $100 dollars for a third bag.

So I found some great  tips for you from  Cnnmoney.com to pack into  a single carry-on bag.. so you don't have to check so much luggage.

Start with a bag that's big enough but one that wont dislocate your shoulder to carry.  Most airlines limit carry-ons to 45 to 50 linear inches...and that means all the way around.

Color coordinate. Pick one central color to work around...you wont have to pack as much clothes.

Another packing trick is to wear layers on the plane, such as two shirts. That saves room in the bag. wear the heaviest pair of shoes on the plane. the packed pairs should be lightweight - like sandals.

Rolling up individual items of clothing, as opposed to folding them, saves space and often combats wrinkles. If you must lay items flat, travel-friendly companies such as Eagle Creek and Flight 001 manufacture packing envelopes that achieve similar results.

Other Tips: Heavy items go in the bottom of the suitcase.

Use travelsized toiletries it really does save space.

Know the rules. The Transportation Security Administration requires all carry-on liquids to be in 3-ounce bottles and stowed in a 1-quart clear plastic bag.

Flying can already be stressful.... so hopefully these tips will help knowing that you won't have to pay as much ....remember when travelling Less is More.

Blessings,

Robin
