House burns to ground in Spencer

SPENCER, Okla. -- A house burned down on Post Road in Spencer Friday morning.

Firefighters battled the blaze around 3:30 a.m. off NE 73 and Post Road.

The home was engulfed in flames and firefighters fought to keep the fire from igniting the grass and a nearby propane tank.

Neighbors said the family was not home when the fire broke out.

The house was completely lost fire officials said.
