ANTLERS, Okla. -- A motorcyclist died near Antlers when a tractor-trailer rig crashed into the bike near a toll plaza Friday authorities said.
"A semi-truck came upon a cyclist...didn't see the cyclist...and ran over him," said Oklahoma Turnpike Authority spokesman Jack Damrill.
The wreck happened around 2 p.m.
"We had a small fire from the gas tank of the motorcycle," Damrill said.
Crews extinguished the small fire from the motorcycle's gas tank before retrieving the body. No other injuries were reported.
