OKLAHOMA CITY -- Putting the health needs of seniors first is the mission of a new Oklahoma City Clinic program.

The program is called SeniorsFIRST. It's an outreach program that provides free health screenings and educational programs to metro seniors.

The Oklahoma City Clinic provides blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and glaucoma screenings. The clinic has been around since 1919.

Katy Soper, who is coordinating this program, said it's their mission to be there for seniors and take care of them. That's why they are providing these valuable tests.

To schedule a screening, call (405) 280-5200.

The next free screening will be on Thursday, August 7  at the Belle Isle Library located at 5501 N. Villa Avenue. The screening will start at 10 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m.
