Authorities reopened westbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Canadian County after being shut for nearly three hours due to a tractor-trailer rig catching fire.

Authorities shut down westbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Canadian County after a tractor-trailer rig caught fire Tuesday morning.

At 12:15 p.m. the lanes were reopened.

At 9:30 a.m., westbound lanes were being diverted onto the inside shoulder of I-40 near Yukon, officials said.
