OKLAHOMA CITY -- Endurocross, like motocross and dirt bike racing, gets your adrenaline pumping.
Endurocross is racing sport with an indoor off road track that features obstacles like logs, rocks and water holes.
The track is supposed to simulate the outdoors.
Racer and Oklahoma native Tony Joiner has been racing since he was little. His dad bought him a mini-motorcycle around the age of five.
After 19 years, Joiner said it can still get dangerous.
"I've broken a few bones," said Joiner.
Announcer Laurette Nicoll said it's a mostly male sport but the races are exciting. Racers from acorss the country and the world tackle amazing and complex courses.
"It's adrenaline pumping," Nicoll said.
AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross event is Saturday, August 16 at Guthrie's Lazy E Arena at 7:30 p.m.
