A vehicle was damaged after a collision with an Oklahoma City fire truck near SW 59 and Shields Wednesday morning.
According to firefighters they were responding to a call when the wreck happened. Fire officials said simply following the rules can prevent such a wreck.
"The main thing for us is when they do hear or see the fire trucks, or any kind of emergency responding vehicle, to pull to the right and come to a complete stop," OKC Fire Dept. District Chief Richard Kelley said.
The police department is investigating the accident. The driver of the vehicle hit is expected to be okay.
