Man injured in metro carjacking

OKLAHOMA CITY - A man was severely injured after his car was jacked in Northwest Oklahoma City Saturday morning.

The incident began near NW 10 and Meridian Avenue, where the victim was parked in the parking lot of a Taco Bell when another man jumped in his van.

The victim then drove to a 7-11 down the street with the carjacker, officials said. The victim was shot three times, once in the head and twice in the chest, police said.

The victim's name and condition have not been released.
