A nice 'fall feel' to the air is on the way
News 9 Meteorologist Jed Castles
After a wet and gloomy start to the work week, we are in for a drying weather pattern the latter half of the week.
News 9 stormtracker Marty Login reported three inches of rain just northwest of Woodward over the last two days. Much of western Oklahoma received between one to three inches of rain during that time. The OKC metro area received between a 1/3 of an inch to about an inch of rainfall.
A cool and drier airmass will entrench itself over the plains over the next several days. The humidity will be lower and the temperatures will be around average heading into the weekend. Highs mainly in the 70's and lows in the 40's and 50's are expected through Sunday.
