Obama/Biden supporters' signs targeted

ENID, Okla. -- Democratic supporters in Enid claim they were targeted after several yards boasting Obama/Biden signs were destroyed.

"It's just one of those things, it's just foolish to do," democrat Pete Tippit said.

The democrats said some of the attacks are racially motivated, claiming the "n word" is being replaced with the terms Muslim and Arab.

The actions have moved from destroying yards, to destroying cars.

One Obama supporter said her car was keyed because she had placed an Obama/Biden magnet on her vehicle.

The protests against the candidate have also moved into the halls of the Enid High School, where anti-Obama text messages have circulated through the student body.

Republicans also claim their signs have been removed from yards, but both parties agree the vandalism and hostility should stop.
