OKLAHOMA CITY - Remington Park moves into the post election day portion of its season with Thoroughbred racing Thursday thru Sunday and plenty of promotions for everyone.

The Holiday Cash giveaways begin on Tuesday with big money going to guests on the casino floor. The drawings begin at 8 p.m. and $18,000 will be given away throughout Tuesdays in November.

Saturday features another doubleheader College Gameday experience with Points & Penalty Payoffs on the casino floor during the OU at Texas A&M game at 2:30 p.m., followed by the OSU at Texas Tech game at 7 p.m. Every time there is a score or a penalty, in either game, cash prizes will be awarded through hot seat drawings. Guests playing on the casino floor, using their Lucky Circle Club card, are eligible to win.

Saturday Nite Cash takes place again after the races, giving guests more chances to win big money immediately after the final event has been made official. When the last winner has been recognized on Saturday, proceed to the casino and take part in the drawings that begin at 11:15 p.m. for total prize money of $2,500!

The $1,000 Crest Foods Grocery Card proved to be so popular last month that we've kept it for our premium prize for November Fun Sundays. Play on the Casino floor between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sundays in November for your chance to win the grocery gift card.

The 2008 Thoroughbred Season continues with live racing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 6:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon racing gets underway at 1:30 p.m. The season continues through December 14.

Remington Park opens daily at 10 a.m. for simulcast racing and casino gaming.

REMINGTON PARK HORSEMEN STANDINGS

Quinonez Controlling Rider Colony
Luis Quinonez of Jones, Okla. has taken control of the jockey standings at Remington Park with 49 wins through the first 44 days of racing. The Jones, Okla. resident is on a quest for his first Remington Park riding title in a career that nearly spans the 20-year history of the track.

Eddie Martin, Jr. had the lead through much of the season but he has departed to prepare for the Fair Grounds season in New Orleans. Despite leaving Oklahoma City early, he is still in second position among the riders with 41 wins.

Quincy Hamilton is third in the standings with 36 wins while the track's all-time leading rider, Cliff Berry is fourth with 35 wins.

Asmussen Continues to Move Toward New Record
Defending Remington Park training champion Steve Asmussen, of Arlington, Texas, is ahead by eight in the conditioner standings as he seeks his second-straight title.

Asmussen now has 35 wins through 44 racing dates. Through racing of November 1, Asmussen had 519 wins for 2008, just 36 shy of his record for most wins in a calendar year, 555 set in 2004.

Asmussen's vast stable has now accumulated more than $21 million in earnings this year with eight weekends left in 2008.
Bret Calhoun remains close in the standings with 27 wins in second position. John Locke is now third with 19 wins while Donnie Von Hemel has 18 wins for fourth place.

Owner Standings Will Go Down to the Final Day
Pin Oak Stable of Versailles, Ky. still holds the advantage for the owners with eight wins this season at Remington Park, good for a one-win lead over a pair of owners trying to reach the top.
Carl Moore Management of Kennedale, Texas and Gary Owens of Mustang, Okla. each have a share of second with seven wins. Owens is the five-time defending owner champion and seeks title number six in a row.

Pin Oak Stable and Carl Moore Management are looking for their first Remington Park titles.

HOLIDAY CASH EVERY TUESDAY IN NOVEMBER
November is crunch time as Remington Park guests get ready for the big holidays that are fast approaching. Join us in the Casino every Tuesday night in November as guests will have the opportunity to win their share of $18,000 in Holiday Cash!

Big money opportunities abound after the races on Saturdays during the 20th Anniversary Thoroughbred Season at Remington Park with Saturday Nite Cash!
Stay with Remington Park after the live racing program concludes and proceed to the Casino floor. A series of five drawings will begin at 11:15 p.m. Each drawing is worth a minimum of $500. A total of $2,500 will be given away throughout the five drawings which take place every 15 minutes.
Entries into Saturday Nite Cash can be acquired by visiting the Lucky Circle Club and by wagering on the horse races starting at 6:30 p.m. Every time a wager is made with a mutuel clerk, the guest will receive an additional entry slip into the Saturday Nite Cash drawings. The guest is required to fill out the additional entries, legibly, and deposit them into the proper drawing tumbler on the casino floor.
