WARR ACRES, Okla -- Authorities are searching for a gunman involved in a deadly shooting Friday night at an apartment complex near NW 10 Street and Rockwell Avenue.

Jeremy Moore, a Papa Johns delivery man, was shot around 7:00 p.m. at the Lantana Apartment Complex while making a pizza delivery.

The 29-year-old died at the scene, police said.

Moore had been working at the Papa Johns on NW 36 Street and MacArthur Boulevard.

Police said the apartment he was delivering to has just one tenant living there. Neighbors said very few people live in the complex overall.

Some residents said they heard the shot Friday night, but hearing gun shots in the area is not uncommon. However, one resident said it was strange that Moore was delivering to the complex at all.

"It was kind of odd that he was here delivering pizza. Places won't deliver here after dark, for him to be here after dark is odd," complex resident Connley Whaler said.

Residents said many places won't deliver to that area because businesses believe it's too dangerous. Papa Johns said they've haven't about that, and they will deliver anywhere at any time.

Police are still searching for the gunman. They believe the shooting may have been spurred by a robbery, but they have no suspects and no witnesses.

A Chinese delivery man was also attacked Friday in the metro along the 6500 block of Wilshire Avenue. Police do not know if the two incidents are connected.
