Ingredients:
1 tbs butter
1 tbs canola oil
1 cup diced red onion or yellow
3 cups dried cranberries
2 cups sugar
1 tbs vanilla extract
2 cups fresh Orange juice
2 cups water
1/4 cup white wine or apple cider vinegar
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp black pepper
Cooking Instructions:
Get a sauce pan add your butter and oil when the pan gets hot add your onion. Cook on medium to high heat enough to brown the onions. Next add the cranberries and stir for a minute then add the remaining ingredients. Give a good stir to make sure everything is mixed, bring to a boil and let it boil for about 10 minutes then reduce heat and lower to a simmer for 15 minutes and then remove from heat and cool. Its best if made the day before.
