Truck Kills Man During Dog Walk

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. -- A 70-year-old man and his four-legged friend were hit by a pick-up truck and killed Monday evening.

The incident occurred on E Reno Avenue in Midwest City. The 70-year-old was crossing the street near his home with his dog when an older model pick-up truck struck him.

The man's wife heard the crash and found her husband and their dog lying in the road. She immediately called police.

The driver is not facing any charges at this time. Police are investigating the incident.

The victims name has not been released.
