OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police were investigating a possible kidnapping at Oklahoma City Community College Friday afternoon, but after students saw the story on the news, they called police to tell them it was a hoax.

Police were reviewing surveillance tape that showed a white male victim in his 20's, with light brown hair, average build and height being drug into a red pickup truck.

The tape showed three males wearing black hooded sweatshirts throwing the student into a red Chevy Silverado pickup truck with a paper tag. It appeared that the victim's mouth was covered with something and he went limp.

As police searched for the alleged kidnappers, the three men called police to tell them it wasn't a real kidnapping.

Police are questioning the three suspects about what really happened. Police said they are cooperating and providing information to authorities.
