Weleetka Police Investigate Homicide

Authorities are investigating an alleged homicide in Weleetka.

WELEETKA, Okla. -- Authorities are investigating an alleged homicide in Weleetka.

Police responded to the home of Paula Wagner due to a signal of distress from a Life Link Remote. When they arrived, police found she has been stabbed.

Wagner was transported to an area hospital where she later died.

Police arrested Dempsey Cargill, a family friend who was living with Wagner at the time. He is being held in the Okfuskee County Jail, but he has not been charged.
