Horse Owner Faces More Animal Cruelty Charges

NORMAN, Okla. -- Cleveland County prosecutors have filed animal cruelty charges against Leslie Paul Lambeth.

Authorities seized eight horses and a dog from his property in September, saying they were malnourished.

Lambeth was also charged with six animal cruelty charges in March after police found 27 horses and four dogs malnourished on his property.

Lambeth's attorney said there was food and water for the animals when officers came to the ranch.
