Residents without Internet access are urged to call the Oklahoma City's Action Center at 297-2535 to request a map.
Crews will focus on bridges and overpasses first and will keep 25 to 30 salt trucks on the road throughout existing conditions.
Drivers are encouraged to keep about 500 feet away from a salt truck to be safe.
