OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City family no longer has to worry about paying off medical bills of their injured pit bull. Due to generous donations, the dog's medical bills have been paid in full.

The family's pit bull, D-boy, was shot when an intruder attempted to make his way into the home. D-boy ran into the room and the man began shooting.

D-boy's story reached across the U.S. and many sent donations to pay for the bills that the family could not pay.
