TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police say a missing 3-year-old boy has been found safe.
Officer Jason Willingham says Joe Kelley III was found about 12:30 Tuesday afternoon at a convenience store in east Tulsa.
Willingham says a woman called police to say she had the boy. He says officers are investigating why the boy was in the woman's custody.
The boy disappeared Sunday after his mother and stepfather argued while driving and the mother got out of the car and ran to a nearby home.
Police say the stepfather -- Michael Brummett -- fired a gun at the house then drove away before crashing the car. He walked to a friend's house but did not have the child.
Police arrested Brummett Monday night for the domestic dispute and shooting but he said he didn't know where they child was.
