Escaped Inmate Doesn't Get Home for Christmas

UNION CITY, Oklahoma -- A 41-year-old inmate, who escaped from the Department of Corrections Wednesday, was caught by police after an overnight chase.

Michael Keith Jackson had been part of a work program in McClain County when he escaped.

He apparently told other inmates that he was going home to family in Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office captured the 41-year old following a chase overnight.

Jackson was transported in the custody of the Oklahoma County Police Department back to jail.
