Airlines Cancel Flights

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The icy weather has canceled several flights at Will Rogers World Airport.

The Oklahoma City airport is reporting several cancellations on its Web site. Check your flight status at flyokc.com.

Airport director Mark Kranenburg said the airlines were not able to get any aircraft into Oklahoma City last night.  Almost all flights after 5 p.m. Monday were canceled.

"It just made the early morning departures impossible this morning," he said.

Kranenburg said airport crews are working to keep the runway clear, but travel remained difficult.

"By and large, the schedule for the day is being canceled," he said.
