Enid Police Search for Shooter

ENID, Oklahoma -- Enid police are searching for the person who allegedly shot a man Tuesday night.

Police said a man tried to force his way into Elias Gomez's apartment. He didn't get in but was able to fire a shot through the door - hitting Gomez. He was taken to the hospital with one gunshot wound, and is expected to recover.

Police are trying to determine a motive and the relationship between the gunman and suspect.
