Oklahoma City police are investigating a body that was found dead in a metro apartment Friday afternoon.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police are investigating a body that was found dead in a metro apartment Friday afternoon.

According to Oklahoma City Police Master Sergeant Gary Knight, police were called to the apartment at about 11:45 a.m. after 64-year-old Sammy Atkinson's body was found by apartment management. Residents had told management of a bad odor coming from the apartment.

Knight said officers identified trauma to the body and that it suggested foul play.
