Central Texans have had their eyes wide open, looking for any trace of a meteor that shook several people's homes, and lit up the sky on Sunday morning.
Two North Texas researchers found fragments yesterday newar west and now one local man says he may have found pieces as well.
Bill Butler of Elm Mott says he was walking down his driveway when something caught his eye. He picked up two black rocks that he believes might be connected to the meteor he saw smoke from Sunday.
Two Baylor astronomy and geology professors went out to inspect Butler's findings. At this time, their assessment is, the rocks may be from a meteor, but tests will have to be run to see if they are from this latest event.
