NORMAN, Oklahoma - A man in his 20s was struck by a train Sunday evening in Norman and killed.
Norman police found the victim on the railroad tracks north of Robinson Street and Flood Avenue.
The victim's name has not been released. The victim has only been identified as a Hispanic male.
Authorities are investigating what led to the incident.
"The conductor of the train actually called it in. We don't know exactly why the individual was that close to the tracks at this time," Norman police Lt. Blake Green said.
Norman police said the train would be sitting on the track for several hours between Lexington and Flood Avenue and Robinson Street and Flood Avenue.
