State Representative Hospitalized After Wreck

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A state representative and his wife were hospitalized this morning after a car wreck in south Oklahoma City, police said.

Rep. Mike Christian (R-Oklahoma City) and his wife, Veda, were taken to OU Medical Center after a crash in the 1200 block of S. Central Avenue, said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

The couple's vehicle was hit by a dark blue or black pickup, Wardlow said.

Their conditions were not available Thursday afternoon.
