OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two people were taken into custody Monday night after a high-speed chase in Oklahoma City.
Police spotted a car that matched the description of a vehicle used in three robberies Monday evening. When officers tried to stop the vehicle a chase began near SW 59th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, police said.
The chase ended after the vehicle crashed near SW 50th and Land Avenue. The two people in the car were taken into custody. Police are investigating to see if the pair is connected to a string of robberies from Monday and Sunday, police said.
The suspects' names were not released.
