Police Investigate Rash of Robberies in Southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two people were taken into custody Monday night after a high-speed chase in Oklahoma City.

Police spotted a car that matched the description of a vehicle used in three robberies Monday evening. When officers tried to stop the vehicle a chase began near SW 59^th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, police said.

The chase ended after the vehicle crashed near SW 50^th and Land Avenue. The two people in the car were taken into custody. Police are investigating to see if the pair is connected to a string of robberies from Monday and Sunday, police said.

The suspects' names were not released.
